 More Parking In Store For Nissan Pavilion
 
 
 MANASSAS, Va., 9:36 a.m. EDT July 31, 2003 - Concert goers will soon have an easier time finding a parking space at the Nissan Pavilion. Prince William County has rezoned 30 acres of land around the outdoor arena for additional parking. A pavilion spokesman said officials hope to have several thousand additional spaces ready in time for next year's concert season.
 
 But traffic gridlock in and out of the arena will be a problem for a few more years. County supervisors say it will be at least until late 2005 before rural roads leading to the $25,000 seat pavilion are widened.
 
 For a sold out show, up to 9,000 cars must access the Nissan Pavilion on Wellington Road, which only has two lanes, one going east and one heading west.
 
 One parking attendant said it can take as long as two hours to clear out the parking lots after a concert.

are there 25000 seats?  or are the seats $25000 each?

All 25,000 attendees pay for "parking" as part of the ticket price, even though there are only 9,000 cars at a sold out event.

you could also sell mattresses.. those guys are weird. as if the mattress industry is so complex that you have to differentiate between the comfort zones on a bed.. or something.

I just want to add that, yes, this is the dumbest rule i have EVER seen passed down and i cant believe they are getting away with it. I mean with all of the traffic problems it seems that they would WANT people to carpool, but this doesnt make it logical, i mean,if i am paying for parking, goddamnit, i am going to drive there and get my moneys worth, and make getting out at night that much more miserable for everyone else!
