9:30 Group Outing for Nationals Last Game at RFK
« on: September 14, 2007, 09:29:00 am »
Who's up for a Mini Group outing for the last game of the season/EVER at RFK?

I belong to a Not-For-Profit organization that has about 30 tickets left from it's 250 ticket group.

The seats are right behind home plate in the upper level and cost $17 each.

Game is at Noon, so you'll be back in time for the Skins game at 4:15.

Lots of free giveaways including "Last Game at RFK" T-shirts, jersey off the backs of the players, etc.

Let me know if you're interested and we could make it a fun outing.

I was actually hoping to make it to DC in time for that game, but I don't think I can.  I arrive a few hours later...

While they could probably look it up, having the date here might help spur interest....September 23rd I assume?

And that's a hell of a lot of faith in a new construction project in DC, not many of them have come in on time, and NONE on budget

If this is going to happen, I'm more than willing to buy a ticket and show up a few innings late...

Actually, the new stadium is ahead of schedule.  I know some people who are working on it.

That's correct.  The date is September 23.  Thanks for noticing the ommission.

And also correct that the stadium is well ahead of schedule.  I think we can thank "The Drought" for that.  I don't know if they've had a day they couldn't work due to rain all summer long!
