Manchester the New NYC
« on: October 20, 2004, 10:59:00 am »
The "remake" of Alfie which is set in NYC was actually filmed in Mancheser per Jude Law.  Of course having just seen the orginial again, I think about all thats left from the Michael Caine orginial is a character named Alfie.  This movie is going to be made completely political correct from the ground up.

They show a preview of the movie on telly over here and it shows 2 georgous birds snogging....that's worth price of admission alone.

Jude Law is supposed to be playing Ian Curtis in an independent movie about Joy Division, pretty good casting I think.
