Anyone planning to attend next year's conference? The topic came up on another message board and someone mentioned that registrations/ reservations are already well ahead of last year's pace.

Right now, signs are pointing to me attending, so if anyone wants to share a room, drop me a line.

I've been planning on it...However, currently plans are a little on the fence. I still hope to make it. For SXSW '04, some here didn't make their reservations, etc. until a month prior. I'm curious as well, how far in advance people are planning and if there are any airfare/hotel/deals out there.

I'm planning to buy the Music badge by mid-November (before the price goes up again). SXSW has specific rates on hotels tied to the registration process. They also have travel discounts.

Yeah, you can wait until a month before to make reservations, but it will cost significantly more.

Yeah, I saw those discounts. The info the on the hotels is recently updated. I've been racking my hotel/air miles since the summer just incase I can make the trip!
Last year didn't some hotels tack on the price of a wristband w/your reservation? I also thought outlets (music stores, etc.) sold wristbands for show admittance only. $100 per band, I thought.
