Anybody going? I know there are some V-Roys and Superdrag fans here lurking. His new one is my favorite alt-country/Americana/whatever-the-hell-it's-called-now CD of the year. Saw him last month and he blew the roof off the dump.

Why not instead just see him open for fellow V-Roy Scott Miller on Thursday at Iota?
 
 I'm not going, but just saying...like a V-Roys reunion...must be weird to open for your former equal from a previous band.

I prefer Velvet Lounge over Iota any day. Cheaper drinks and no annoying walls to look around. Add in cheaper drink prices and less risk of having a soccer mom slosh Merlot on me while she attempts to dance and it's a no brainer.
 
 So anyone else going to see Mic tonight? If you don't have plans, this is a good one...espeically with Julie Ocean on the bill.

i'm going tonight. i've never seen mic harrison live, so i'm curious, but i'm going mostly for julie ocean, who i haven't seen yet (i'm a big velocity girl/saturday people/tree fort angst fan).
 
 i like the iota a lot, but i see where lamb007 is coming from.  it really depends on which shows you see there.
