thought this may be a place i could pick up a few scragglers who are looking to make music, like myself. I've been trying to do this for a while but it seems as though everyone i play with is into that nonsense that is played repeatedly on your local "rock" station. I have been writing for years, and am willing to send a tape of some material to those interested. I've done open mics but my songs sound better with a full band, and i havent received the proper collaboration to perform with a full band yet. I am 21 and live in Falls Church. I would say my tunes sound like a bit of Built to Spill, Death Cab, Bright Eyes (but distorted), and maybe a splash of the Get up Kids. So yea, im looking for people interested in starting a legit band. Need drummer, bassist, and a 2nd guitarist. I play guitar and sing, but totally open to sharing the singing duties, I think good harmony serves a song well.
