What are you streaming right now?
« on: January 27, 2005, 01:31:00 pm »
Since most of spend a lot of time in front of a computer, I'm guessing I'm not the only one that streams music during the business hours.

After Pollard gave us the URL for the Minnesota station, I'm sure there are many more URL's out there I'm not aware of, therefore, feel free to share Radio Stations, Tracks, and Album URLs for the board.

 My usual daily shcedule is:

9-Noon (PT):  The Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW

Noon-2 (PT):  Jonesy's Jukebox on Indie 103 FM

And then I cap the afternoon of with Pollard's Recommendation:  89.3 The Current

 And some Recent Albums:

  The Bravery EP

  The Arcade Fire on KCRW

If you go to the Pernice Brothers website, you can stream about half the songs off of their new album.

If you listen very closely, you can hear Markie saying something about his knob tasting like chicken. Or something like that.

Did anyone catch them on Letterman last week?

When did they turn into "...and you will know us by our similarity to the Grateful Dead?"

...not that that's necessarily a bad thing...

I saw it but can't say that it was all that memorable.  They are playing a free show around here tomorrow I think (for those that preordered the album).

In the San Francisco area, just stop by any Rasputin Music store, pre-order the new record "Worlds Apart" and pick up your pass to see the band at the club 330 Rich (330 Rich St) on the 29th at 10:00 PM. Note. Each pre-order is good for one pass to show, this is an 18+ event. Limited space available. Pre- sale begins on 1/17/05 at all Rasputin Music locations.
