You paints me like Wyeth?  Huh?

 Garthog, I am indeed a pain, but thank you for saying I am also plucky.  And no, there is not going to be a fight.  I just think it's funny that Snarkie, like most internet snarks, is afraid to own up to his words in person.   :D

Did I ever share the story about the Idlewild show in Baltimore when I had to physically separate Snarkie from another concert-goer?

 He is actually quite similar in person, it's just that his boyish good looks and undeniable charisma make his ribbings seem more like teasing than mean spiritedness.

I just think it's funny that he's so uptight about someone he's never even met.  Whatever the issue is, it's all him.

I'd love to come out; it's been ages since I saw any of you.  But tonight is a hot date night with the wife.  As charming as most of you are (and since Lulu is a no show), the little lady wins out.

I won't be able to make it as I'm working 15 straight hours tonight.

 Also: you should have symapthy for me because one of the aspects of my job is describing fecal matter in detail on a graph.  There are questions like: </font>
  • <font size="2" face="Arial, Veranda">Was the bolus hard, well formed, or loose?</font></li>
  • <font size="2" face="Arial, Veranda">What color was the bolus: Brown, yellow or green?</font></li>
  • <font size="2" face="Arial, Veranda">Quantity of bolus: How many visible?</font></li>
  • <font size="2" face="Arial, Veranda">Etc, etc...</font></li>
<font size="2" face="Arial, Veranda">

you know, I could've happily made it through my whole life without ever learning the meaning of the word "bolus."   :)

I ought to explain that previous shot -- that's from last night at the Heurich House, which as it turns out is an amazing place.  I've walked by it a million times and just took it for granted.  I love the pneumatic servants bells and speaking-tubes, like something out of one of the older Tintin books.  Totally worth the five bucks to check it out.  And nice running into you, Kosmo.

Brennser, I think we were there at the same time, but alas I'm not sure I know how to recognize you.  Next time!
