I didn't attend the NC shows, but I was told that once the credit card holder picks up the stub at the window, he or she is directed directly inside and is not permitted to give away their ticket. Their guest must be WITH them as they enter the club.

No luck for me either. Tried calling and getting out of the waiting room. If anyone's got an extra that would otherwise go to waste, I'd be grateful.

well that went poorly.  I suppose everyone who got one got two, so is it worth it to go the night of and hope?

Boy, makes me glad that I paid $40 to see them at the Metro in Chicago in August of '93, the week that Siamese Dream was released. Tix were $10 and I thought I might be getting ripped off, but that is still one of the best shows I've ever seen. I didn't get tickets either...this was a tough one to shoot for.

im mostly pissed that people got in the waiting room at 953, i figured that it wouldnt let you in until 10 so i was smoking a cigarette from 950-955 and when i came back it let me in, if i had known that i probably would have got a ticket :'(

Ground rules are ambiguous at best. Tix are non-transferable most likely means that you cannot change the name of the person who picks them up at will call. But it's still quite possible that you can transfer both tickets to someone else after you pick them up. Different shows have different rules.

I'd like to see them but I'm going to see them at V-Fest and Osheaga already. So this show isn't a big deal for me, but it is for my wife and her friend. So I'd rather they went - that's all. No evil intent.

Please feel free to unknot your knickers, now.  :)

After an interesting conversation with a Tickets.com rep who would not sell me tickets over the phone (because I somehow came in on a Wolf Trap line?) I scored a pair via the VWR. I had a ticket to see them 11 years ago, and never got to, so I consider this karmic retribution. But I still think the VWR sucks big time, especially when it doesn't open when people think it does.
