But to "spoof" this system, he would've either had to buy 4 with his own card, which would then be canceled and there's no harm, or he would've had to have friends with him who were willing to provide that info for the tickets.  Either way, it's no harm, no foul...unless he's stealing identities, in which case he's got more problems than some annoyed hipsters on an internet message board

BTW Congrats to all who got tickets.  Seriously hope y'all have a kick ass time.  This is the first time I got shut out of a show I wanted to attend since I discovered the club about 6 years ago.  So that ain't too bad of a track record.  See y'all at the next big ticket party!

Again I'm not talking about this kid, he's fine, it's general comment on the state of tickets being bought by assholes to help create false demand by reducing availability with no other motive than to resale them.  It's not a new problem and frankly probably not a big problem with this sale today, but I'm just pissed and lashing out so don't expect rationale thought for the next hour or so until I get over it and figure out how to get into this damn show.

Kosmo - for those of us considering the ebay/craigslist angle, can you clarify if the person bought 2 if they'll actually be able to sell both? I know you don't want to help scalpers out but it kinda also helps out the hardcore fans who are willing to throw $$$ into this but don't want to get fucked when there's only 1 ticket.

I know this hurts, but i did get two tickets, however not through that damn VWR!!! That is an awful excuse  for ticket sales. Although i did have it running in like 10 different pages. I got them thru the phone. The fucked up thing was i called at 950 expecting to be on hold for more than ten minutes and it only took 4, leaving me with 6 mins to kill. So i tried to fill the time with bullshit questions, and she quickly caught on, and then promptly hung up on me!! After busy after busy i finnaly goton the phone with a person at like 1010, and scored 2! Just wondering though, did most everyone try Online, or phone???

Oh man, I just clicked on the ticketing link and it asked how many tickets and I said 2 and it said "not this many available" so I clicked 1 and it did thw hole word verification thing and then said "no tickets available." Worst fake out ever.
