at this point, the plans are to move to austin or portland within 6-12 months.  i'll miss being able ot go to the shows here 'easily', but it never was super convient or anything, living 100 miles away.  i have seen more shows here than at any other single venue by a mile.

 its easy to say when the system works for you, but i thought it was cool that tickets.com  left open the possibility of getting tix after the initial sell-out and was open about the fact that more tix would go on sale at some point.

i agree.
 it was nice to hear the tickets.com agents repeatedly telling me to keep trying and even telling me to try up through tuesday afternoon. kudos to them.

Well ladies and gents, since a boardie came through for me and kept me from spending a small fortune sending an asshole scalperâ??s kids through college, my good fortune is now your good fortune, as everyone gets a drink on me.  
 
 Iâ??m going to forgo the whole spending the afternoon in line gig, as I have to work then I have let the animals Iâ??m pet sitting for my neighbors out for some fresh air before going to the show.
 
 But Iâ??ll be at Duffyâ??s probably around 6:30-7ish and anyone that wants to collect on a free drink come say hi.
 
 The way I look at it anyone of you could have offered me a ticket so all of you deserve a thank you.  Anyway I wonâ??t be difficult to find, Iâ??m trying to keep the Shaft sideburns in style and I have a permanent tan.
 
 If you donâ??t catch me at Duffyâ??s get your drink at the show, Iâ??m usually back near the soundboard.
 
 To keep this manageable thatâ??s one drink per boardie, so pick your poison wisely, except of course the one who came through with the ticketâ?¦that person has an open tap.

I tried a few months ago, then last month, then last week. A blank screen is all I see each time.
