I'm not a fan of metal or metalcore and I ended up going for free last year and had a blast.  GWAR and Strapping Young Lad were two of the craziest things I've ever seen.

Clutch was on that tour last year. I don't think they quite fit in with the general feel or sound of the tour, but apparently they received a really good response from the kids.

Yeah they really stuck out, but I think it was a nice break from all of the yelling, screaming and headbanging.  People had fun with it.

One of my favorite concerts ever was seeing Clutch at Hammerjacks just before it closed.  I haven't listened in years, but I still consider "Shogun Named Marcus" to be one of the greatest songs ever written.

i remember seeing them in Toronto in 1994 maybe, soon after that song came out....the whole place just went more crazy than any show ever when they played that song!

I've had the pleasure of seeing them live many many times over the years and it blows my mind how much better their music and their live shows have become.

There is NO better live band in the world that I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Of course I've seen hundreds, maybe thousands of bands play live and no one else comes close to what Clutch brings to the table night after night.

AILD and In Flames would probably be pretty sweet.
