I have been listening to Give Up a lot, too. and you're right -- you're NOT indie!! It isn't Crematoruim... it's De-Loused in the Comatourium (remember the album is a concept album about the inner workings of their friend who had attempted suicide's brain...) This summer I've been kind of listening to some old favorites, and the relatively new things such as Black Eyes and Ted Leo. I really like the Shins, too. [/b]

Black Eyes, on the other hand, continue to get better with age. I was lucky enough to hear some demos for the new EP, and they sound stupendous...twice as dubby and three times as booty-shakin'.
