The duration of a contrail is related to the altitude, temperature, and moisture in the air.
 
 Low level contrails in warm, dry air will dissipate quickly.  Contrails in higher altitude, colder, and moister air may last for more than a day, and will generally spread out into "cloud-like" forms.
 
 So, it is not only possible, but also quite probable, that your image is of contrails and not of a mind controlling haze produced by the USAF's secret Cloverleaf project.

this all reminds me of an annual occurrence in my college town of Madison, WI... there was this guy, I forget his first name but his last was Anderson, that would run for office every year, choose an office, as the candidate of the "Anti Freemason Mind Control Party."
 
 It was always such a hoot reading those League of Women Voters voter guides, since it would always be something like this:
 Q: How do you feel about bringing light rail to Madison?
 Candidate1: I think light rail, while expensive, is a great ....
