Im lucky.  I got to spend valentines day with my girl friend and leav my wife at home to go to work!

Is it a sin if I'm in my first three months of marriage, am out if town on business on Valentine's Day and drowned my sorrows in tons of dark beer instead?

NOt at all.  A good friend of mine has been exclusively dating a girl for going on 6 years now, has yet to make any type of formal committment, and has spent this third (THIRD!) V-day in a row with his friends in Vegas.  I doubt he's drowning his sorrows in anything but tang...
