best i came up with was sec 102 row AA (i.e. front row on the rail), or Floor Sec 4 row G.  tickets weren't for me, and my friend took too long to get his CC info to me so i didn't buy any.  but yeah, i pulled up a LOT of shitty seats before getting those.  poor selection indeed, but such are market vagueries when supply < demand.

Remember when Depeche Mode did GA for the Patriot Center back in 1998 for their Greatest Hits tour? Now THAT was a fun show. I'm a little surprised the main floor isn't GA, Oasis used to do that every time they came through. I am actually going to try for tix for the Chicago show, I'll let all of you know what I come up with since I can't do the DC show.

instrumental/post-rock, but not in the Explosions In The Sky/Mono sense. kinda like a cross between "rock action"-era Mogwai and kinski (if you've heard of them.) thats probably not accurate, but its the best i can do to describe them. download their album "the fall of math" for a slightly better idea.

i was helping a friend for this on-sale (i won't be around for the show), and my best pulls were Floor 5 row F and Sec 102 row BB.  he ended up going with something a tad better, but not by much.  neither of us got floor 1, 2 or 3.  eh.
