Good question. I was thinking of going to the show...Never heard anything by the band but it sounds like something I might like.

You're never going to get concensus with this many people. Someone (hello List Moderators!!!) is just going to have to pick a date and go with it. It's better to have a few people there than not do it at all. And we don't need to make it anything big - just a chance for us to put faces to the names (IMHO).

It was a joke, someone said they could not go that weekend. Hence talking about people behind there back.

Well allrighty then!
December got a little hectic, so if nobody sees anything too wrong with January,  I would like to suggest we run with the idea of having our little soiree in that cold and less hectic month...
The 15th looks like it would be a good day for it but go deliberate and send Kosmo back to us with a verdict.

Lst years forum party was the same night as Boogie Down Productions. The date you are proposing is the same date as this show:

MN8 Presents a MLK Weekend Celebration featuring Raheem DeVaughn & Fertile Ground
 w/ Donnie

Is the 9:30 Club using forum holiday parties to fulfill some sort of "white people quota" for hte evening?

Then again, maybe we have scores of Donnie fans on the board.

So who's up for the 15th!  Those of you going to the Pentagram show can always stop by before hand...
