Voxtrot in need of a venue?
« on: February 21, 2006, 06:20:00 pm »
According to http://www.informationleafblower.com/blog/ , Voxtrot's 4/8 DC show was cancelled because DC9 accidentally doublebooked them with the Six Points Music Fest.  However, Leafblower says the band will be passing through on that date anyway, so they're looking for a "houseparty or some type of venue" where they can play.  Any ideas?  The band's email is voxtrot@voxtrot.net.

I hope they find a place.  They played live on WOXY earlier this afternoon -- good stuff.

Oh no! I was looking forward to seeing them at DC9. I really do hope they find a place. If only I had a house!

hey, i tried. apparently, monopoli and the brindley brothers just HAD to play on 4/8 instead of a good touring band with lots of eager fans.

warning: do not do a house show for voxtrot unless you can hold 100 people. there is quite a buzz on this band.

The show has now been moved to the "Riverside Lounge" which is in one of the dorms at GU.
