The band opening for Rogue Wave, Mazarin, is UTTERLY FANTASTIC. If I decide to go to the show, it'll be 70% just for me to see Mazarin. Someone said the Shins most totally changed their vida. (Spanlish en la casa.)  Well, let me just say that Mazarin certainly enriched mine for the better as well. If you're debating whether not to go to the show, just go and say you did it for Mazarin!

As the resident porn connosieur, I have to applaud and commend your efforts to date the resident 15 year old girl. That sort of thing - right up my alley. But, my friend, to try and get her to pay... bold, dear Doctor, bold. Hats off to you!

OK, I'm sold on it. Think it will sell out? I'd rather not have to pay TicketMaster fees to purchase it in advance and I won't be near the club before the show.

i'm not buying in advance.  i doubt it will sell out...and if it does, we can cry outside the club together.  i'm very tight on cash right now (hint: Moschino gloves may be a nice gift for your best bud for christmas, but they leave your wallet dead), so anywhere i can save i am doing so.  i guess we'll just get to the club as early as i can drag our asses out of the house, and pray it won't sell out.  all i know is that, rogue wave was here about two months ago and they played BACKSTAGE at the cat and i'm pretty sure that did not sell out.  but it might have.

I don't think it will sell out.

I went to the RW/Fruit Bats show at the Back Bar a couple months ago and I am pretty sure that it didn't sell out.  Additionally, I was under the impression that most of the crowd was there to see the Fruit Bats as the room was only half full by the end of RW's set.

They were great live and I love the new album...wish I could go.

To get back to the original topic of this post, I've been listening to Rogue Wave without even knowing it... one of their songs, "Publish My Love," has been on my Itunes rotation thanks to a Sub-Pop podcast...   I just happened to notice who it was yesterday.  It's a good song...

I unfortunately can't go to this one, either. Wish I could. Bags, I would call/email the club. Rogue Wave has been getting a lot of buzz lately and it's a Saturday night. You never know...
