I thought it was a great show as well.

But I'm a little puzzled by the people whining about the sellout...I'm pretty sure tickets were on sale for at least a month before it sold out.  I got mine at the box office a couple weeks after they went on sale with no problem.  True, the Washington Post doesn't talk about shows until the week before they happen, but I thought "true fans" weren't dependent on mainstream media clusterf*cks to determine which bands they want to see.

I understand complaining about shows that sell out in an hour or whatever, but come on...like you can't be responsible for checking the website once a MONTH to see if there are any upcoming shows you want to go to?

Likewise with the Arctic Monkeys - those tickets were on sale for-EVER and listed in several 930 emails before they sold out.

Oh, I take full responsibility for missing the boat.  I saw the tickets for sale but was waiting to get them in person.  Alas, my black cat show drought lasted too long and I didn't end up making it in time.  Had I been a true fan rather than a "heard good things so I think I'll go" fan, I would've made a special trip.

On a more positive note, when I finally did make it to black cat for my next batch of tickets, I was able to buy 4 shows worth with the big bags of spare change I'd just exchanged at the bank. It was therapeutic.

Nice to know they may be playing "Celebration Guns" eventually... I would really love to hear that. I think it's one of their most lyrically brilliant songs.
