Tony Orlando without Dawn.  I was 10.  I was dragged to the show.  And it was awful.  He french-kissed random women in the audience.  I was all grossed out.

C'mon Rhett...at least we're mentioning a band's name, not some cryptic statement like "it was a British artist"...

ok, you are right.

I can't really think of an embarassing concert though.

I was kind of embarassed to be at the HFStival a couple times though, especially the year Eminem was there.

Doesn't the fact that it was a British artist automatically make it an embarassment?

Alright then, it was Ozzy, with opening act Vandenberg (whose guitarist later went on to be the guitarist in Whitesnake).

Some night not even call that embarassing, but I do.

Still, it pales in comparsion to my wife's first concert.

Hmmm.. technically my first concert experience was at the Grand Old Opry. Little Jimmy Dickens and Bill Monroe were there. In fact, I got to shake Bill Monroe's hand at the local Shoneys afterwards. I've never seen my dad so in awe of someone.

But my first concert of my own free will was Bryan Adams and Mr. Big. 1992 I guess. That's embarassing.

my first show was a Lynryd Skynrd cover band.  You can't get more embarrassing than that.

Oh wait, you can... my sister's first show was Air Supply.  :D
