Me too.  Love em that is.  Went to the last show after hearing about them on the board and was suprised.  Can't wait.  Better not sell out bc I'm planning on buying at the door.

i'm working this show. i'm curious about snow patrol...they sound like the kind of band that can either bore me to tears or pleasantly surprise me.
 
 i seriously doubt this will even come close to selling out.

according to eddie in the faq:
 
 "At this juncture it doesn't look like the show will sell out soon but it is selling well so it might be a risk waiting to get them at the door."

I pulled that info from VL's site. I looked into it and Thebrotherkite's site says they are in MA. I know Honeychuck goes on at 9:30 pm so if Thebrotherkite goes on after you still might be safe to check out Snow Patrol. According to Eddie, at this juncture Snow Patrol should go on at 11:30 pm.

the velvet lounge are notorious for completely inaccurate schedule listings. i'd be surprised if thebrotherkite came back so soon, especially to the velvet dive.

thanks for the head's up about VL. I don't think they are playing.

The last time Snow Patrol played the club they were pretty suprised with the turn out seeing as they had never been to dc.  A lot of people also knew the words to some of their songs and at that point they hadn't had too much radio play.  But school is back in session so I'm sure a lot of college age kids who dig them will show up.
