Well, first I can't help but feel burned by the notion of doing my part for the environment. That would rule out all other diesels until they all get re-certified.
A used Model S is still out of my price range and all of the other current electric cars are either too small or lack the range I need for my job. I don't have the luxury to wait for the Model 3, though I will likely have one in a couple years.
I did my time with a Prius, the Lexus CT is the same car with a more comfortable chair, and that leaves the Chevy Volt, which I feel is over priced for what you get.
