Nomadland was a snoozer - my wife loved it but I felt it just dragged.

Promising Young Woman and Sound of Metal were probably my favorite movies of 2020.

+1 for Promising Young Woman

I watch a lot of movies (still have Netflix DVD service two at a time, plus three streaming companies) and that was one of my favorites.

CLA$$IC $PACE

Did you upgrade to HDTV yet?
I don't think so? How do I tell?

The

theory: space was about to ask for details about identifying the fidelity of his TV, but his wife - always looking over his oppressed shoulders - didn't like that line of questioning as it might result in non-essential spending.  thus, she took him mid-sentence him before he could ask something like "the tv has a big sticker in back with a lot of numbers on it, is that where i looks to find out if i have hdtv?"  someone should probably go check on him...

Well, he'd also have to pay for HD streaming content, or possibly even have a blu-ray player. And the blu-ray Netflix add-on...

My wife is all about non-essential spending and not having a budget. I'm the one who is thrifty.

Anyway, you digressed so I dogressed. What I was going to write was that Prime streaming is free with a membership and I get Hulu for 1.99 a month. Is HDTV going to save me money and give me the same benefits? I didn't really get what Yada was suggesting.

Tubi is an app you can get on basically everything that has apps. Similar to Hulu basic — you’re going to see a commercial every fifteen minutes. Has a lot of obscure/b-movie content.

I know that’s why it’s great
Watched Donnie darko and Touch of evil on it
The ads do suck

my kid got xrays from their MRI on a CD and I was like "how am I even going to view this?"
guess I should call Space
I got some Xrays back around the start of COVID and was also given them on a CD but I was fine with it because I remain consumptive of physical media.
I have not owned a computer with a CD player in a decade

My body is ready

I was hoping they were going to do a theatrical release but then again I'll gladly take six hours of Beatles footage. The video quality looks amazing for 50 year old film.
