i noticed the same thing at Fletchers in April.

i was worried of a overdriven sound at fletchers, the sound that made the Von Bondies sound like pure fuzz.   But to my surprise Wolfmother soundded great...loud , but not ear rattling.

must be their own dude and he knows how to mix them.

I love it when the critics validate my original thoughts.   ;)

Yeah, because either way, nobody cares. Everyone's a winner, and you get a prize!   :D

how many times are you going to post in a thread about a show you didnt go to and a band you know virtually nothing about?

do you always interject into conversations you know nothing about in real life?

I have listened to their music multiple times on KEXP.

My wife has seen them multiple times on MTV at 6 in the morning while she was doing her first workout of the day with the tv on in the background.

Since when does one need to see a band live (or buy their shitty album when it was import only) to have an opinion of them? I bet you have never seen Zeppelin, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, or the Beatles, yet have an opinion on each of them.

The only thing surprising about the Post review is that they sent Foster to the show in the first place.  He leans toward alt-country and female singer/songwriters.  He probably makes quiche once a week and drives a VW Cabrio.

Hey, aren't you paying attention?  You can't go criticizing the VW Cabrio without driving it.

i do have to say, i'm not too amped about this band, and i have seen them live.  it just doesn't do a whole lot for me.

i was left wishing they had a second guitar player to fill it out a bit.

They could have sent Rhett...

I'm thinking if Mrs. Rhett has seen Wolfmother numerous times on MTV, it's multiple viewings of the same video.  Or do they have that many videos out?!?

I'm guessing she's seen one video. I've heard multiple songs.

I would have refused the assignment. I thought for sure the rapture was going to happen.

the same thing crossed my mind, what they need is someone playing one of these, now this would bring the RAWK!
