Wah wah wah.....prtybby called me a baby.

Seriously, with your way of thinking, it should be compulsory to have a cigerette hanging out of your pie-hole while you ride a Harley Davidson....or call everyone "my nigger" and wear clothes that are 8 sizes to big for you if you listen to hip hop. Baaaa - baaaa!

So is Heroin, cocaine and pot, but those are not allowed in the club.

The difference is Herion, cocaine and pot are not allowed anywhere and are illegal. Booze and cigarettes are not illegal and therefore, allowed in the club.

Well actually coke and heroin are legal for certain things, and alcohol and cigarettes are not legal for people under a certain age.  So in some ways they are the same.

People smoke, get over it.  It's a free country (at least for now anyway).  If you don't want to be around it, go see the shitty bands at the Ram's Head.

Yeah coke is used in certain medical applications - it's a schedule 2 narcotic.  But heroin, that's a schedule 1 narcotic and is not legal for any use at all, medical or otherwise (except for rare cases of authorized research).

I'm rather torn about it

it imposes on the freedom of either side, no matter which you you go (smoking vs. non)

Since it's your club, if left up to you, what would you choose Seth?  A smoking 9:30 or a non-smoking 9:30?

The owner(s) of the 930 club are obviously intelligent and decent business men/women judgeing by the length of time the place has been around and the talent that comes in.

Does anyone here truly believe that if the owners thought they could make more $$$$ if the club was non-smoking that they would not do it in a heartbeat?

I believe it should be up to the proprietor of a business to decide is smoking is allowed or not, its a private establishment and it should be the owners right to choose what makes the most business sense!

If you dont like it dont go.
