i guess the joy was divided.
From what I have heard, he was epileptic and the seizures were getting worse and worse with no solution in sight and so he decided to end it all. [/b]
omg, i have a seizure disorder.  that's what medicine is for.  god i hope he wasn't one of those jim henson weirdos, who refused to go to doctors.

considering i haven't even read the kylie minogue thread, i don't think you can accuse people of having "selective compassion"...i wouldn't consider someone who refers to suicide as "off'ing oneself" as particularly compassionate either.

I think he did but they could not figure out what worked, medications were not working.  This is all hazy to me, as I read about it a while back.

Oh yeah, now I understand you better.  Hilarious stuff.  Cancer, death, suicide:  Okay for "artists" the board doesn't like: tragic for your heroes. Sheesh, I'm going to find Rhett and Celeste.

Oh yeah, Rhett and Celeste are always full of compassion.

So which thread are people actually making fun of Kylie having cancer?  I must have missed that one.

I did....but I also started the topic out of sincere compassion for the girl. I made the off-colour comment about don't you need breasts to have breast cancer, which I regret now....it was meant as a 'iddie biddie tittie committee' joke, not a cancer joke, so I apologize if it offended anyone.

He was interviewed on that late late show thing last night.....someone needs to let yer'man know he's gay, because he's about the only one who hasn't realized it yet! Gave a good interview though.

Shame on you Mankie!  It must have been the stress of Glazer taking control of your beloved United (and being raised in Oldham) to have made you make a comment like that!  But I know you well enough now to realize that you meant no offense to Kylie's health or anyone with the same illness.

So what did you think of the FA Cup Final?  Even though they lost, United were fabulous! No reason to hang your head in shame about that match. I hope Liverpool can be as lucky against AC Milan on Wednesday as ARSEnal were against United yesterday.

Thanks for the kind words about the match, If United had played like that during the season Chelski would've ended up runners up. It's a bitter pill to swallow after dominating for 120 minutes then end up losing, but the formula will never change "Penalty shoot-out + Carroll = loss" Fergie should've put Howard in at the last minute of extra time because he's a much better penalty goalie...much better goalie all together, but that's a whole other subject.

Even though the FA cup is on the mantle at Highbury, everyone, including ARSEnal. know who won that match. Their only shot on goal for two hours was from a free kick.

No shame from my end.....we've still got them beat mentally.

Good luck to your reds on Wednesday. I'm a bit torn to be honest. I want the Champions League to be a holy grail that only United can obtain in England....while at the same time I would want any English team (ARSEnal excepted, because those *cuckers are French anyway) to do well. Call me neutral with a slight bias for your lot.   ;)
