One cold ass night when i went to see George Clinton at 930 years ago. I decided to take a one hitter rather than spend another 8 dollars on an overpriced drink.  Right away me and a friend were kicked out of the show before George even got to the stage.  My friends in the club had both sets of keys to the cars we drove.  I talked to every bouncer i could none would let me get the keys to go home.  I talked to band members they even tried to help me get back in.  Finally I found Josh who I had met throughout the years and he was the only 930 club employee that actually helped me and let me get the keys to get home.  Now I understand why I got kicked out Im not complaining about that, I'm just telling my reason for JOSH being the best employee that the 930 has.

Josh is the 9:30 Club.  And the article really brings out why I think so, because he represents a really solid, reasonable and thoughtful approach to his job and the club.  It's a rock club, but one with a brain and, I believe, a real desire to best serve customers and the music.  Bully for both, the city would be worse off without either.

 Good article.

North and South Capitol Street divide east and west.

East and West Capitol Street divide north and south.

I only go into the district proper about twice per year.

I know Baltimore rather well...I'm there about once a week.

When I was but a wee sapling I lived in both Woodbridge & Springfield.

I'm from Maryland.  I attended the same university as Frank Zappa & Michael Moore.  And I graduated from the same journalism school as Peter Jennings.

 Are you local?

while i do appreciate all of the kind words, i feel the need to mention that i am just a small part of the team that makes 9:30 what it is.  the club was around for a long time before me, and will most likely exist for a long time after i'm gone.  while i might be the most publicly visible part of the team, i am far from the most important.  so, thanks, but please keep in mind that we are all working together to make the club the best it can be.

Then that would imply that there is a SE DC?  Just like there is an east side of Chicago. Southeast Washington doesn't exist...it's called Arlington.

Arlington is to the WEST of DC.

Part of Capitol Hill is in SE.

And yes, there is a SW DC as well.

 Check out this map.
