There's still a lot of grass roots kiddies (like myself) that still do the promo thing. She's Aware's flavor of the year atm along with Mayer, Mae, and a few others that escape me atm.

That's a good question. They should be on their fourth or fifth album by now, but they haven't released anything since 2004's "Tyrannosaurus Hives." It's a good sign that they're touring at least.
