If we had a poll function, I'd vote to keep the NYC and any other outter reaches announcements. Don't care if it's in the good old Just Announced thread or separated as Rhett suggested. Actually, doing something like Rhett suggested might be a bit more organized and easier to access as long as we all use them properly. I probably won't be able to attend the out of town gigs but I do get a vicarious thrill out of it and other times I can share some of my findings.
You've got to remember that over the years this forum has gone global, thanks to several of our seasoned members with low member numbers and high post counts. It's all part of what makes this place so nice. That is, when you all aren't on the rag. :p
