Pollard is apparently so thrilled with Boston Spaceships that he will hit the road with the outfit for the first time in two years. Dates begin September 25 at Cincinnati's Midpoint Music Festival and run through October 18 in Nashville.

"My goal is I don't want to play anything I've played live before live. I know a lot of people expect ... 'Gold Heart Mountain Top Queen Directory' and 'Cut-Out Witch' and things like that," he told Billboard recently. "I've been doing things like that for so long that I'm sick of doing that.... I want to play not necessarily mostly new stuff, but the older songs. I want them to be obscure."

From: Helios Creed

Yes a lot of you have been asking me when we are going to tour again.
And I know for many, we missed the last couple years. It hasn't been
easy putting all the right elements together to make it happen.
Either a member wasn't able to do it. Health problems, legal problem.
Gas is kicking every bodies ass, a lot of bands like the truckers are
eating it big time. And its not looking like the gas thing is going
to get any better.Well we're giving it the old heave hoe this fall
anyway. We are going nation wide. We're going to try an rv that
sleeps four nicely and pulls a cargo trailer. No motels, well maybe
every once in a while, to get away from one another so we don't kill
each other. And cook our own dinners. I'm going to like that part.
Hey I'll be the cook? I think we'll save money in those areas ,to
combat the ever growing gas prices. BUT! we need you. We really need
you to make the show as well. We are nothing without your support.
These days we need you to drive that extra mile indeed, Plus this
could be your last chance to catch us. So come to the shows
{Chrome/Helios Creed} thats the way its going to be booked. We play
half Chrome songs And half Helios Creed songs. Chrome fans will be
content. We play the best of Chrome so Fans will be pleased, and the
solo stuff as well. We really aim to please. You know that. So be
there We'll post the dates soon as they are ready. So I MEET YOU IN
THE SUBWAY and believe me, bring plenty of psychedelics and balloons,
We'll bring the dancing girls and sword swallower and the big funny
 clown ....Cheers.. H

the one where he mostly talked about his good friend, jeremy blake, who walked into the ocean and committed suicide because he was heartbroken about the recent suicide of his girlfriend, theresa? yeah, wasn't really the most uplifting evening.

i thought the 2005 wedding present show at the black cat was phenomenal. the 2006 one, not as strong. and now there are two new albums to play songs off of, so the trend might continue. but still...

i think this was mentioned before, but why do people post ny shows in here all the time.  i see a cool act or show or festival, and get excited that i might be able to go, then i read it's in new york.  six hours, one way to see a concert?  gas, food, lodging money?  ticket, drinks, merch money?  uhmmmm.....
