Empire is closing on 5/5.

This is not surprising at all, except for the fact that it took so long.  It had been going down hill for some time since Jay sold it a while back and the name was changed.  Kind of a shame that all that money was spent to upgrade it only for it to be shuttered.

Semi sucks. They would randomly have fun shows there. The calendar was so spread out and bookings got to be so few and far between. Such a shame.
