 They did play Fletchers last go around though and it is not dissimilar to the cat in my opinion.

Idlewild headlined 9:30 in July 2003.  Can't remember what the crowd was like.  I went to see them before having any albums...enjoyed the show and am looking forward to BC.

Idlewild have been playing a variety of venues in their recent tours for the latest album. It's possible that they requested Black Cat or a smaller venue. Or maybe the 9:30 Club just wasn't available. The July 2003 show was pretty full. I'm happy they are playing the smaller venue.
