No, it means you'll have to join me in seeing the Sadies the next time they are in town.

Sadies are a much better live band than Jayhawks, in my estimation

yeah, it'll be all acoustic. danny thompson has been one of the best (and most underrated) bassists in folk and folk-rock since the '60s. i'm there on halloween.

you have got to be kidding

i have nisennenmondai at the warehouse that night, and this is something that i have to somehow see. these four musicians are the cream of the crop as far as avant-improv goes.

brennser, danny thompson was the bassist in one of my favorite british folk-psych bands, the pentangle. he was also a session musician for all the revered folkies of that era and appeared on albums by nick drake, john martyn, and many others. his command of traditional folk, jazz, and blues is impeccable. the two thompsons together are unmatched as far as songwriting and musicianship goes.

bullocks!! i imagine FME will go on between 9:30-10 until 11, or 12:30 if they do 2 sets. Hopefully, they'll do 2 sets so I can watch Nisennenmondai and hop over to the Cat and catch FME's 2nd set. Octis is playing last at the Warehouse that night right? I dont really care to see them much anyway.
