I'll pile on. Saw them at The National about three years ago and it was embarrassing. Not Blonde level cringe but close.

Yeah, that was a bad show too, was soo looking forward to it and it was a big disappointment.  I'm really surprised the keep getting tours booked, but I guess there are enough people out there to buy tickets

I saw both Blondie and the Furs, separately, at the State Theatre about ten years ago


The Furs were pretty good….but Richard Butler is an asshole…has everyone forgotten that since they were the first or one of foreign bands to play 930 they were supposed to play the 930 30th anniversary party but cancelled at last minute? They have never played an IMP venue again….

Blondie were not very good but the tunes are top…and the drummer Clem Burke is one of the greats… I doubt they ever where a good live band… still I had a great time and chatted with Debbie and Clem afterwards..nice peeps… I have a signed set list somewhere …it’s a weird dynamic cause Chris Stein who is their main songwriter and guitar player has had serious health issues and just sort of sits on stage… after the show he rushed on the tour bus…

Blondie's "performance" and the general state of Debbie Harry bummed my wife and I out so much, we sleepwalked thru Elvis Costello afterwards at The Anthem.

Can I just say Debbie was the most photogenic musician in the 70s… good lord… so beautiful and sexy… it’s hard to find pictures where she doesn’t completely knock me out.. just drop dead gorgeous…in pictures at least maybe my female ideal
