I also think the part about the DC Ticketmaster franchise being separate isn't true anymore either (I know it used to be).

I'm not sure, but I know here in Richmond I cannot go to a ticketmaster outlet and buy tickets for DC events and I'm told "they're seperate." I can buy pretty much anywhere else in the country I've tried, just DC. So, unless it's changed recently, I bet they're still seperate.

Same here. I missed Stars last time they played Black Cat. The Elected would be an added bonus, so I hope it's true.

it's not "everywhere else".
 you can buy tickets for places like nyc, philly, atlanta here locally, but i wasn't able to buy tickets here for detroit last time i tried.
 i think it's somewhat regional, but dc is still a no-go.

That's peculiar, because Detroit is one of the places I have in fact bought tickets for. To be fair, it was winter 2002 though, so it may have changed.
