Lee Perry's upcoming tour that spans next week (crossroads and sonar) has been cancelled for what appears to be some bullshit reason. From dub is a weapon's (opening band) drummer:
 
 Hey everyone, we just recieved news that Scratch could not get his visa or there was some sort of problem with it and basically the tour has been cancelled.
 This has definietely come as a shock to us since it was so close to when we were supposed to leave and we had a lot of time and money invested in the tour.
 WE ARE STILL PLAYING AT BB KINGS IN NYC ON MONDAY NIGHT!! It will be a free show and will featured 2 sets of Dub is a Weapon, so not all is lost I guess.
 I hope to see everyone soon.

damn i finally get a job in new york and leave here, and now all these great bands are playing.. ok well i just got my rakes tix! woohoo! and annie the night before.. im sure theres way too many other bands up there ill be seeing instead. of course, everything is selling out too insanely quick!

Yeah, I wish I could go to that show. The record label said the March dates are one-offs in connection to SXSW. But they also promised the band will be back soon for a tour. Can't wait!
