MEDESKI MARTIN & WOOD will play on JamCruise in February. MMW will release a new record early next year. Then we might play a couple more shows in 2026.

I once went with a girlfriend to a MMW show at the Club. I spent the evening drinking in the downstairs bar, she spent the evening doing whatever you do at a MMW show.

I saw MMW at club once…I hate to say it but man was it boring. I think these guys shot their wad with Shackman and that was 28 years ago. The Wood Brothers have been drawing far better than MMW for years….


Still, I have a bit of a soft spot for MMW…

Honestly, I don't recall who bought the tickets. I guess it would have been pretty crappy of me to let someone buy me a ticket and then not hang out with them*. So maybe your point is valid. But I don't recall, this was 25 years ago.
