YO DJS
« on: April 17, 2008, 06:42:00 pm »
Ive been workin with a Standalone for a few months now cuz I didnt want to dive right into a pair of CDjs but I think Im ready now. Im just starting but have learned my way around this standalone [Deckadance] and know the basic stuff [looping, cues, effects, bpms, etc. etc.]. I want a decent pair but I dont want to go in over my head and be overwhelmed with the set-up I eventually get. I'm lookign at a pair of the new Pioneer 400s and a DJM 400.

 Suggestions? Tips? Reviews? Dope tracks?

How much are you looking at spending? You can get the Numark CDN-88 which has a lot of bells and whistles for not too much cash and less bulk that the Pioneers take up.

I mean Im willing to spent up to 450 on a mixer and/or a cdj

400s are on craigslist and eBay for that much from what Im seeing.

And at this point Id like to familiarize myself with a cdj before I throw in a mixer.
