Thankfully we were too busy preparing for a wedding this weekend to watch, but I did happen to flip past the season 3 finale.  What's up with the winner's (Jeffrey Sebelia) neck?  His head is actually narrower than his neck?!?!  It freaks me out.

re-read his post and replace "Brian Wallace" with "Dupek Chakra".  spooky, huh?

No, I honestly don't understand why anybody hates them.  I can understand why someone would hate U2, Radiohead, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Smashing Pumpkins, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, The Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, ANY classic rock.

But Fall Out Boy?  They're young, their music is fresh and as innovative as a band can be in 2007.  They have great lyrics and really speak to a lot of young people.  They're almost inspirational.  I'll put "This Ain't A Scene" up against ANY single released in 2007.  It's that good.

Plus, I'll put my money where my mouth is.  Even though some "rock critics" are just as bad as you people AND the track record of The Village Voice's Pazz and Jop pole is dire.  (Think of all the great albums that have been made in the last ten years.  And accept the stupefying fact that Cadillac spokesman Bob Dylan got "Album of the Year" in three of those years.  Old, worthless baby boomer hippies should die right now.)

I bet that "Infinity on High" makes the 2007 Pazz and Jop album list and "This Ain't A Scene" makes the singles list.  You can't have "evidence" in rock and roll but at least that would prove that other people, some even respected writers who are PAID to critique rock music (as opposed to sad, trolls who think holding court on the 9:30 club message board makes them "rock critics" just the same) actually like Fall Out Boy, too.  I think they'll even rank higher than...oh...I don't know..."Zeitgeist" and "Tarantula."

It's petty but I think you're all in the dark about this.  Not only is Fall Out Boy popular, they are (somewhat) critically acclaimed.

I'm also sure the band is really bothered by everybody on the 9:30 club message board hating them.  You can all go back to masturbating over Gogol Bordello and Peter, John and Bjorn and hoping Santa puts a direct drive turntable under your Christmas tree.

It's unfortunate -- I was very much looking forward to Tim's show, but I watched two episodes and gave it up.  Like an uncomfortable, less fun version of "What Not to Wear."  I think Tim is better interacting with professionals, and Veronica Webb should just not be on t.v.

Fall Out Boy represents everything wrong with popular music these days. Pro-tooled talentless pretty boy hacks...

FOB's new album is scoring a 75 on metacritic. I'd hardly call that "(somewhat) critically acclaimed."

You can always find some rock critics who like shit. Just look at some of the stuff that J Freedom Du Lac and his WashPo cronies pump up.

Besides, I'm willing to bet that most of us here wouldn't trade our real jobs for the job of professional rock critic.

If they make little girls squeal they must have something going on... In days of your image plus talent was important, today anyone with the right image can be transformed into a mega superstar...

Tarantula isn't very good but in a celebrity death match, I'd pit my spider to knock out your Fall Down Boys anyday of the week.   :p

The new Hives album scores a 73.

And "Zeitgeist" scores a (YIKES!) 59!

And what's that...No!...it can't be!  THERE MUST BE A MISTAKE!

Mr. Original-American-Dream/Greatest Live Performer EVER! Bruce f-ing Springsteen and his "Album that will get old people to:
 1. Buy CD's again.
 2. Vote Democratic.
 3. Stop the War.
 4. Buy American trucks again.
 5. Have people 'believe in America' again."

 only scored a 73!  That's MAGIC!

That can't be right!  A group of critics found Fall Out Boy's album to be better BRUUUUUUCCCCEEEE's?

Someone please contact metacritic.com and tell them to be prepared for weak-willed slap fight from the denizens of the 9:30 club message board.

brian why do u always bring up FOB lol

i dont have a problem with them, but c'mon. this is about the runway--nothing to do with music.

i always wondered why everyone picked on you, now i'm starting to get the picture.

back on topic, i love project runway. i'll do the trip to wendy's house but only if we can throw eggs at her or toilet paper the studio. then again, she might use the toilet paper to make clothes. i want kors and that other lady to go away, never liked them.

not having good degrees is such a liability in fashion design.

So I decided to look it up online.  He definitely went to some joke university that's barely accredited which I think is hillarious.

He's really whiny and annoying, and I think it's funny that he thinks he is so great yet he is on that show...most people who finish up college and are really great usually have better jobs to take than going on a reality show...
