Pretty appropriate that my #1 song for the moment is from an album called 'April'.

Sun Kil Moon's "Lost Rhythms" is such a beautiful song and I can't get enough of it. Whole album is great.

Sorry, can't think of 5 right now.

Goldfrapp, "Utopia (Sunroof Mix)"  zShare

I recently made a Goldfrapp "Best Of" mix to introduce their music to a friend of mine, and I decided to put this version of their single "Utopia" on it, rather than the version that appears on the album. I love the original, but this mix is just tops for me, aside from any live interpretations of it.

 Minnie Ripperton, "Memory Band"
 zShare

If Springtime was a song, it'd be a Minnie Ripperton song, and it'd probably be this one. Her voice is pure sunshine, and I love the arrangement. Walk through the city with this in your ears, and I guarantee you'll love life 10x more.

 China Crisis, "It's Everything"
 zShare

Not necessarily springtime, but I love this song. The vocals are spot-on, and it's smooth as shit. Another walking song if you ask me, plus I fucking LOVE China Crisis, I don't care who knows.

 Moloko, "Knee Deepen"
 zShare

I've liked Moloko for a really long time now, but I've only recently started getting into this song! This is HOT. Really above and beyond. Roisin Murphy's just amazing.

 Dinosaur, "Kiss Me Again"
 zShare

That last one, is definitely one of my favorite songs ever. I've been coming back to it more and more over the past month or so.

 ---

Oh, and I guess as a bonus, true to my iTunes Playlist, the song I've most recently played the most is this:

 Parliament, "I've Been Watching You"
 zShare
Woof.

I need to swap out one of my songs... While it started out to be a fatastic day, it ended up being rather crappy as Sid Vicious my 22 year old took a turn for the worse today and had to be put to sleep. He lived almost as long as his namesake... So for him I add

Sid Vicious - "I Did It My Way"

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that, even if I'm not sure what kind of pet it was.  I'll crank it up on my way home for Lil' Sid too.

It was a pet wasn't it? You just said "22 year old"

Either way, I'm sorry for your loss.

I have a grey tabby cat named Bleak.
 He is 18 years old.
He too is a pain in the ass.
 Sorry to hear about Sid.
I am not looking forward to the day...
