With the guitarists from Metric and (on keyboards mostly)the main guy from the American Analog Set. What should I buy from BSS if I liked that show?

Broken Social Scene Presents Kevin Drew, "Spirit If"
That's what they were touring on.
But the best Broken Social Scene record is "You Forgot It In People"

I like the self titled album better than You Forgot it in People, but you should really pick up both.
I think the Kevin Drew album has a few good songs but most of it sounds like BSS B-Sides.

Agreed that Spirit If... sounds like BSS b-sides. I think You Forgot In People is an overall stronger and more even album. There are some songs on the self-titled release that I could do without.
