I agree.

Still... poor web design on their part.

Hey Seth, Why no Denis Leary in DC? An intimate show at the club would be great!
Rescue Me Comedy Tour:
4/09/09  Nokia Theatre
4/11/09 Chicago Theatre
4/18/09 Fox Theatre
4/21/09 Ruth Eckerd Hall
4/26/09 Hard Rock Live
4/29/09 Tower Theatre

Dear Seth, the Specials just announced they're reuniting and playing a bunch of shows in the UK next year.  Would love to see them put on a legendary show here at the 9:30!
Yes please; just watched their Jools Holland set over the weekend and they're sounding very, very good.

Superchunk are playing as part of that Merge party in Carrboro,NC in late July. It's way too close for them to come w/o playing a DC date.

No Pocky for Kitty was easily one of the best releases out of that whole scene IMO.

I can see where the vocals would need to be an aquired taste for some but they always put on a great, energetic  live  show ever time I'd seen them play.

Yep. Their last proper tour was 2001??
Saw them in 1999 and 2001 with Spoon opening...

They were well past ther prime at that point although 99's Come Pick me Up was pretty good.
As for Spoon, they seem to have a good fan base here on this board, however, their allure escapes me and I've heard way more than my share.

Hey Seth, I saw the Lady Gaga show in Richmond was scheduled for September 25th, any word on the rescheduled DC one?  Also, as per her blog, the show did indeed switch to a bigger venue (Landmark), and I know she'll probably do this for DC too.  Please find an alternative to DAR and Patriot Center for the show.  DAR doesn't allow dancing, and Patriot Center is way too far away.

Also, if possible, can you find some way to make sure the prior ticket holders (9:30 show holders) get the best seats possible at the new show, or make the floor or something similar GA for us?  Considering I work, I can't beat all the teens to the venue to wait in line.  And there is no way I can do a GA Patriot Center/ DAR after expecting to see her at the club.  Thanks!

DEVO!

Based on pictures from their recent shows, it looks DEVO has truly brought back the videos that made their shows in the 80s the spectacular events they were.
