Hey Seth

Just a reminder, LCD Soundsystem is supposedly doing a tour early this summer, a 9:30 gig would be awesome, especially since Murphy has said he's not planning on continuing the project after this!

also, you should so bring Thom Yorke to the club :) happy faces galore!

An obvious choice, but Grace Jones would be swell.

Yorke would be amazing.  Imagine how fast it would sell out...

Has Graham Coxon ever played 9:30?  Or D.C. at all?  I would -love- to see him live.

He's played the Black Cat at least once.

I'd love to see Graham at the Club. Thom too, but that seems far less likely.

Jarvis Cocker would be amazing, too.  In fact, he would top my wishlist.  His visit to America during the Further Complications world tour was far, far too brief.  I now wish I had traveled to see him in NYC.

I wonder if he would be considered "big enough" to play 9:30 or would he be better suited for Black Cat.

Damn.  :(  I wonder when (to Google I go).  It must've been around the time of Happiness in Magazines or even earlier, because I would have definitely not missed it otherwise.  Other than a brief set at SXSW, I don't believe he's done any U.S. dates in support of The Spinning Top.

Unbelievable.

Do you feel obligated to go to all these shows you asked for?

Because you should.

That's it! It's official. Sug has officially been promoted to mystical goddess status.

I bow to you, my dear.  ;)

She must have some sort of strange power that the rest of us lack.

The first couple, ok. But we're at like 9 or 10 in maybe six months now.

And it's not like every one of them were 'a natural'.

So many of them (like the one above) are totally random.
I had to ask Wikipedia who the Temper Trap was, for instance.

Oh really? I had no idea, but was embarrassed to ask but now that you say this - not so much.

Apparently they're kind of huge in the UK and Australia.
