Sufjan Stevens...Second tour in last few years he has skipped out of DC. I know we were spoiled with the Kennedy Center show a few years back, which I was fortunate enough of attending after waiting in the freezing cold for 5+ hrs, but stinks he is going to charrlottesville and Philly but not here..any chance u could help out on this one Seth?? thx

I wish Paul Weller would expand his U.S. tour a bit.  He's playing NYC and Los Angeles in late October/early November.

I wonder if there's any chance a few more dates might be added...

Nothing wrong with requesting smaller bands. The stage can be pushed up for a reason. Joe would have said the same thing if somebody requested Mono back in January.

Mt. Desolation (Tim Rice-Oxley's new side project) would be great to see--if they tour America.

True, and I have seen a couple smaller bands there.  Most of the bands i would request get booked at Rock and Roll Hotel, Ottobar, Black Cat, DC9, Velvet, etc anyways so i quit requesting bands in here outside of Underworld, Aphex Twin, Placebo, and a couple others.
