The Louis Armstrong/Vilma Middleton version is the best, and off one of my favorite Xmas albums of all time is incredible as well:

Nonsense!  Can I remind you it's TOM JONES!!!!

 and CERYS MATTHEWS!!!

I don't care if it's remixed or not.  That version's nostalgic, old-farty and both of the people singing are dead.  You gotta sex that song up!  Robbie Williams style!

P.S.  Is Louis Armstrong dying in that song?  Jesus!  Kevin Dubrow probably was in finer voice this weekend!

Are you a female without a significant other at Xmas time?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just saying, those are three pretty downer Xmas songs and the ultimate I'm alone at Xmas with a near happy ending song.

I think the only pop christmas song I've ever liked has been "Oi to the World" and I'm fairly indifferent to versions by The Vandals and No Doubt.

Other than that, give me the old fashioned stuff any day over this "Last Christmas" and "Santa Baby" crap.

So older music is only acceptable to you when it comes to Christmas Music?

I was being ironic.  Don't you live in San Francisco?  Don't they issue you some irony-detection equipment when you move there?
