Hey, I'm not the one paying $75 every three weeks for what looks like a Hair Cuttery special.   ;)

Hey, I've never given a first-person perspective review of a concert I didn't see.  ;)

I don't like to pull out that chestnut all the time, but it IS completely on-topic for a discussion of boardies who are detached from reality.

I bet you don't remember all of the details of the hundreds of shows you've been too, either.    ;)

I went to the show it see the opener. I left early because I didn't like the headliner. I read a couple of boardie reviews that the headliner sucked, confirming my expectations. Several years later, the reviews of the other boardies had become imprinted as my own.

Simple as that. You've never made mistakes about bands or shows you didn't give a shit about?

I've mistaken details about concerts I've been to but nothing huge like "that time I saw AC/DC they were awesome!" when I have never, in fact, seen AC/DC. There's a difference between saying a certain song wasn't played (when it really was) and saying you've seen a band in concert (when you haven't).

I don't understand how someone can say "Broken Social Scene was awful when I saw them" and nowhere in your brain, the fact you couldn't picture seeing BSS on stage didn't register with you. I dunno, man.

I think that says more about the greater irrelevance of Broken Social Scene than it does about my alleged craziness,   ;)
