coachella was 104 when i was there and both times i went to ACL, the days were all 90+ including the final day of the 2005 festival coming in at 107F... and that was on september 25th.
the difference between 92 and 98 is a lot greater than 98 and 104 [/b]
6 degrees?

once you're in the body temperature --> 110 range, it's just fucking sweltering hot, the difference of six degrees between 100 and 106 doesn't really feel like much

but the difference of six degrees between 92 and 98 is definitely palpable

let me know if you'd like to hear more of my thoughts about weather

I'll be in the mountains of Northern California.  74, 71, 73 - with humidity probably hovering around 11%.

Bonnaroo taught me one VERY crucial thing.  City hot & country hot are two COMPLETELY different animals . . .

and the difference between Bonnaroo and V-Fest is most of the artists i wanted to see there performed under nice tent like structures with open sides, so there was an occasional breeze to go along with with the shade....  boy am i'm glad not to be going as not even a VIP ticket would have it bearable for me,  i thank the Police appearance at Bonnaroo for cementing the decision to pass this one up.

That's a little high on the humidity scale for us.  Drink a lot of water.

Bring the heat, bring the humidity, bring the sweat, and bring on the twelve dollar imports to keep me cool.

Where are you getting your reports?

According to Accuweather (not that it's far off):

 Friday: 97
 Saturday: 94
 Sunday: 90
 Monday: 92
 Tuesday: 94

I think this is for downtown Baltimore so you may be able to drop a degree for Pimlico. Either way you look at it, it looks gloriously hot.

Hope they have snowball stands. Snowballs are perfect for hot, steamy festivals like this. I suggest egg custard with a shot of gold tequila.
