Murder Ink.  Wow, someone remembers them.  Do you have their CD?

I have to agree with most of these, 9353 happy to have seen them the first time through and when the briefly reformed (and played the Taste of DC).  Velocity Girl IIRC broke up because of the downward trend in their CD sales.  Date Bait, the Ubangis still play on occasion, and that is pretty close.

Canyon.  They were stunning.  I know Brandon Butler does a solo thing, and some of the rest of the guys are playing as Revival, but Canyon was way better then either of those two acts.

The Glenmont Popes.
 Lucy Brown.
 The Now.
 Y Not.
Although I do believe I have dated myself with those last two references!

I haven't given them a proper listen but there's a band called "Maritime" which has 2 members from the DP + you got Travis Morrison's solo record.

There's band called "Gun" with Phaser's singer and they are pretty tight and rockin'...

I believe Maritime only had 1 DP member (Eric Axelson), but now have 0.  They do have 2 members of  The Promise Ring.  I don't care for them very much.

I also loved D-plan and hated Maritime. Compared to Travis' solo album though, they're the Beatles.
