 Finally discovered 2003's best release. MBV meets Beta Band meets Joy Division and it works...I must be going senile in my old age.  When was the last time a NY band deserved their hype?

thats such a brilliant album - in another life I reviewed it for the City Paper
 
 I only saw them once at the Free Tibet concert - the sound was so bad you could barely hear them - it was there that I swore I'd never go to a stadium gig again and so far I've stuck to that pledge
